DESIGNCRACY

Today, most of us are being sieged with different threats in a world where there exist every material and science and experts needed to change this neutral world to a heaven, but just vice versa, we witness a world that is surprisingly going towards a real hell.

Big and little wars around all of us which are really affecting all of our lives, with an earth which is warming more and more, increasing activity of bunch of known and unknown viruses triggered by global warming, ever-increasing abnormal behavior among individuals and societies, gigantic number of refugees flooded all over the world in recent decade, and many other abnormalities, all are big threats which neither earth nor we people can’t stand for much time against them and we must initiate a program to know and analyze and solve all these problems from their roots.

In this book, I have introduced design as a tool which can present solutions for most of today’s problems by “Designcracy”, a hypothesis which is constructed on 3 main pillars and a set of 11 protocols as the fourth pillar. Design is presented as a modern tool for macro and global issues which must be replaced for Politics as an expired tool which instead of healing the world, just does the opposite especially from 20th century up to now. As a proof I have asked the kind readers try to bring a problem that designers can’t solve it but the politicians can solve that problem, and I have continued that, I can count and show bunch of little or big problems around the world that politics and politicians proved that they are not able to solve them and even worsened them but designers can solve them, not because the politicians are bad or good people, but because they along with us, all of us, are stuck in ominous heritages of the pasts that despite their useful role many centuries ago, but today clearly are unable to solve many of problems.

Designcracy is a hypothesis that, in one sentence, is "trying to identify the causes of present and future problems of the individual, society and environment (DC’s triad) and solve them with the help of Design instead of solving it through Politics and other types of expired tools like rituals and cultural norms."
